STUCO Prepping for a Big Year

“The events that are most difficult are probably the dances,” Rome said. “The dances are the most time consuming because of the preparation of getting everything together, organizing  everything, and then of course the clean up.”

There are roughly 30 students in STUCO. Many students took interest in STUCO for different reasons.

“I got involved with STUCO  because I enjoy being creative,” Moreno said. “I love showing school spirit as much as I can and I like helping people.”

Vice President, Lechuga stated her plans for the future.

“My future plans for STUCO are that I want to help more and get more students involved with the school that otherwise wouldn’t be involved.”

Yessica Esparza, eighth grade STUCO member, shares some enthusiasm.

“Im looking forward to the upcoming Pep Assemblies,” Esparza said.

If you are a student who is considering joining STUCO meet with Ms.Rome to see if there is an open spot or you can also sign up and write an essay for next year.
