Seventh Grade Lady Apaches Sit at 0-6 Following Close Loss to Horace Good

The seventh grade Lady Apaches traveled to Garden City on Thursday, Nov. 15, and took on Horace Good. Going into the fourth quarter, the Lady Apaches were within three points of Horace Good, but were not able to overcome Garden in the fourth and fell, 22-35. Keyona Hall led the team with 13 points. The B-team lost to Horace Good 8-40. Top scorer was Ruby Pulido  with 4 points. Kimberly Alonso and Jasmin Nieves also scored 2 points each.  

On Tuesday, Nov. 13,  the Lady Apaches lost to the Lady Eagles from Hugoton, 15-37 at Seymour Rogers Middle School. During quarter one, the Lady Apaches put up six points. Hall scored two points during the first quarter. Jalyssa Head added two points along with Coraima Chavira.

Hall scored in every quarter as she went on to add two in the second, one in the third, and two in the fourth, leading the Lady Apaches with seven points. The losses put the seventh grade Lady Apaches at 0-6 heading into their matchup Nov. 27, versus Guymon.
